Güralp has been developing revolutionary force-feedback broadband seismic instrumentation for more than 30 years. Our sensors are used worldwide by academic, public, governmental and private organisations to understand and explore our world.\n\nGuralp broadband sensors record seismic events and seismic signals of all kinds, from teleseismic events occurring on the other side of the planet, to microseismic events such as those induced by unconventional hydrocarbon extraction (e.g. hydraulic fracturing).\n\nOur high fidelity digitisers ensure that these signals are recorded with the highest resolution, accurate timing and exceptional speed for applications from academic research to earthquake early warning.\n\nWe are constantly developing new ways of engineering this precision technology into smaller and more advanced casings that can be deployed in the harshest of environments, from the Antarctic ice sheet; to bore-holes hundreds of metres deep; to the world’s most active volcanoes and deepest ocean trenches.\n\nA UK business, we employ more than 100 staff at our head office and manufacturing facility based near Reading.
