Headwaters Health Care Centre (Headwaters), is a medium-sized community hospital located in Orangeville, serving the communities of Dufferin County, the Town of Caledon and beyond. Headwaters offers acute and complex continuing care, inpatient and outpatient services, as well as an Emergency Department with 24/7 coverage.
The hospital is home to a wide variety of family practice and medical practitioners, as well as specialists in a range of health care disciplines including anesthesiology, diagnostic imaging, general surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics and paediatrics.
Headwaters opened a new Ambulatory Care Centre in September 2017. The new 8,700 square foot expansion houses services such as chemotherapy and oncology, infusion clinics and minor procedures.
Headwaters is also renovating 11,800 square feet of existing hospital space to add another operating room, improve reception and expand pre and post surgical recovery areas. This project will be complete in early 2018 and will support the increasing needs of the growing community through greater access to high-quality and seamless health care.
Headwaters is accredited with Exemplary Standing by Accreditation Canada. By offering care closer to home and putting patients first, Headwaters aims to provide an exceptional experience every time. For more information and a full list of services please visit headwatershealth.ca.
