Heritage Community Initiatives (Heritage) has a history of service stretching back more than a quarter-century. Heritage has successfully housed, maintained, and implemented twenty-five capital intensive projects and programs including community transportation models, quality educational centers, innovative job training, housing projects, community programs, and countless revitalization projects. Heritage has a multi-faceted approach supported by our vision for healthy, vibrant, and sustainable communities that offer meaningful opportunities for growth and success. Today, Heritage Community Initiatives focuses primarily on three program areas: education, transportation and community engagement. Are you an A+ Teacher? We have a classroom for you! Heritage offers the opportunity for teachers to work with children ranging in age from 6 weeks through 14 years in two outstanding, curriculum based education programs. The 4 Kids Early Learning Center prepares children to succeed in grade school, while the Heritage Out of School Time program provides before and after school support to kids in grades K-8. Both programs are rated STAR 4 by Pennsylvania Keystone STARS, and are affiliated with the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), Pennsylvania Child Care Association (PACCA) and the National After-School Association (NAA).
