The mission of Connections Academy is to help each student maximize his or her potential and meet the highest performance standards through a uniquely individualized learning program that combines the best in virtual education with very real connections among students, family, teachers, and the community. Connections Academy is a high-quality, high-tech, high-touch virtual “school without walls” that brings out the best in every student through Personalized Performance Learning. Connections Academy® (CA) is a private operator of K-8 virtual public schools. Parents or other “Learning Coaches” deliver instruction using daily lesson plans and a Personalized Learning Plan for each student, whose progress is tracked through a Learning Management System that includes a computer and Internet connection. Connections Academy schools operate under management contracts from charter schools or school districts. Connections Academy, Inc. is a division of Educate, Inc., a newly formed company focused exclusively on K-12 education.
