High Hopes is a vibrant community of horses and humans whose purpose is to improve the lives of people living with physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities. Through Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies we seek to empower and support our participants, volunteers, friends and indeed, our supporters.
Seventy-Five percent of our revenue each year is generated from donations and fundraisers. Through our dedicated development team, and valued supporters, our community aims to ensure that anyone who could benefit from the horse-human interaction is able to do so, regardless of their ability to pay.
Our participants include children born with physical and cognitive disabilities, adults who are living their lives with cognitive or sensory disabilities, veterans and their families dealing with the impact of deployment and/or PTSD, teens dealing with anxiety, families recovering from domestic abuse, and individuals of all ages living with, or caring for someone with dementia. All can benefit from the unique and therapeutic activities that High Hopes staff, herd, and 650+ volunteers provide.
We welcome you to become part of our community, as a partner, a volunteer, a participant, or an occasional visitor to the farm.
