Over twenty years ago, Rick and Ann Yoder embarked on a trip throughout Southeast Asia, they returned to Seattle inspired to create a restaurant modeled on their experiences with the incredible food and culture of the Eastern world. In 1989 they created Wild Ginger, and the result was a tremendous success. This pillar of Asian dining quickly became one of the most popular restauarants in the Northwest and a true Seattle original.
The last twenty years has seen numerous recognitions and awards bestowed upon Wild Ginger, including a James Beard Award and, most recently, The Wine Spectator Grand Award of Excellence.
