Medina Capital's strategic growth equity investment strategy leverages our team's combined experience and expertise gained working together as the senior executive team of Terremark. Terremark was traded on the NASDAQ Stock Market until its successful sale to Verizon Communications in a transaction valued at $2.0 billion, representing a 19x trailing twelve month EBITDA multiple– at the time, the highest EBITDA multiple obtained within the IT infrastructure sector. We invest between $10 to $20 million in each of our portfolio companies. While we primarily invest in preferred equity, we also may structure transactions using convertible debt or common stock. We hold a majority equity interest in our target companies or, alternatively, a significant minority interest in target companies, with typical minority investor protective provisions and a board appointment rights.
