Established in 1867, Blount County Schools (BCS) is a school district in Maryville, Tennessee, United States, serving nearly 11,000 students in Pre-K through 12th grade. The district manages 14 elementary, four middle and two high schools, which are divided into two feeder systems (William Blount and Heritage). It also manages the Everett Learning Opportunity Center. BCS is the fourth largest employer in the county, with more than 1,600 certified and classified employees. The Director of Schools is Rob Britt.
