Carroll Seating Company (CSC) was formed in 1952 by Patrick Carroll, Sr. He began the business by selling church pews out of the basement of his home. He gradually began selling furniture to private schools and later entered into the public school market. As the company grew, Patrick purchased his own building near downtown Chicago, where the business was located for 51 years. In May 2004 Patrick Carroll, Jr. relocated the business to Elk Grove Village, IL.
In 1998 Patrick Carroll, Jr. (University of Kansas, School of Business, 1977) assumed the positions as President and Chief Operating Officer, and Michael Carroll assumed the position as General Manager of Operations in Kansas City, Missouri.
Today, Carroll Seating Company services over 1,500 accounts in Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, and Illinois. The company represents more than 25 institutional furnishing lines and has over $29 million in annual sales.
