As noted in our Corporate Profile, Bebco Industries is an independent, family owned Corporation with a forty year history of proud service. Throughout the many years since the late 60's, beginning in a garage stall at our founder's home, Bebco has always maintained the precedent of being a leader in every field we enter. Bebco started as a local panel shop, acquiring bid packages and providing exceptional services to a wide range of customers in the Gulf Coast Region. As the years rolled by, our capabilities expanded to include sheet metal fabrication and field services primarily focused on instrument calibration and start-up. In time, Bebco addressed increasingly larger applications, becoming a leading force in the Greater Houston Area for the fabrication of control panels and the engineering and production of complete analytical systems. By 1985, Bebco had grown considerably as a local service provider, and took the bold step to introduce a new protection technology concept that would propel our organization to a level of nation-wide recognition. Thus began our venture into the arena of standards development and product manufacturing. Within only a few years, Bebco led the way toward development of more dynamic NFPA and ISA purging standards. Bebco also created and dominated the market of enclosure purging and pressurization - an astounding achievement that we sustained for more than 15 years. By 2002, market saturation and declining trends in our local economy compelled Bebco to accept a lucrative acquisition of this Product Line. Bebco's current strategic missions revolve around the development of a complete product line of third party approved building and enclosure air conditioners for Hazardous Locations. In conjunction, we're leading an initiative to develop viable ASHRAE standards for this emerging technology, and our Executive Director now chairs a new subcommittee in ASHRAE devoted to this goal. We have also launched a dynamic effort to revolutionize the custom enclosure market, by unveiling our new and innovative rolled and radius edge enclosure designs. Most recently, we have begun a quest to develop the world's first complete product line of pre-engineered industrial duty and blast resistant modular buildings. As we cross the horizon of a new millennium, we are expanding our vision, we are maintaining a clear focus, and we are more determined than ever to maintain our proud history of success.
