About
Building a better world, one job at a time. \n\nIn Africa, youth unemployment is a pressing issue affecting millions. To address this problem effectively, a coordinated and comprehensive approach involving multiple stakeholders, including governments, businesses, and non-profit organisations, required considered and effective job training programs, apprenticeships, internships, and targeted employment policies to help young people enter the workforce and build successful careers.\n\nOur research established that real-life, hands-on industry experience is the most valuable way for graduates to obtain meaningful career-related employment. We also found that graduates needed training to be employable, interact with peers, and learn in a commercial environment. So we created a 10-month training program that could do all that and called it the Global Employment Challenge.\n\nWe aim to place 10 million African tertiary-qualified graduates into jobs with international companies by 2035. \n\nAnd with your help, we can do it.
