SpectraCell Laboratories, Inc., is a specialized clinical testing laboratory company. The Company commenced operations in 1993 to commercialize a unique, proprietary blood test (the Functional Intracellular Analysis™, or FIA™) that measures lymphocyte growth to diagnose functional intracellular deficiencies of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and anti-oxidants unique to each individual patient's metabolic processes and immune system. SpectraCell's nutrient testing technology was developed at the University of Texas in a research project conducted by the Clayton Foundation for Research. The Foundation received a patent covering the lymphocyte growth testing process and the culture medium used in the process.
