The Arc Eastern Connecticut is a non-profit organization founded in 1952 by families in both northeastern and southeastern Connecticut who sought opportunities for their children who at the time were not welcome in the public school system. Today The Arc serves over 800 people of all ages and offers advocacy, employment opportunities, in-home supports, life skills training, recreation, supported residences, and person-centered, community based services.
