CNI, which is now part of the Rodriguez Group, a French public company, recently endorsed modern thinking by taking a leading role in design for high performance catamarans. At the same time CNI intends staying close to its traditional roots of brokerage charter, and yacht management, and looks forward to an exciting and rewarding future. Almost on the day we went to press with this book, news came through that the Gosport Yard had been sold to Nautor, the well known Finish builders of the highly acclaimed and very successful Swan line of yachts. Nautor, not unlike the C&N Gosport yard, have had their ups and downs too, and now that Nautor are controlled by Leonardo Ferragamo, the merging of the two yards might be the best solution. Generations pass and times move on.
