Founded in 1865, our independent company operates a single pulp and paper manufacturing facility in our hometown of Glens Falls, NY, a small Upstate city perched on the edge of New York's famed Adirondack region, approximately 50 miles north of the state capitol of Albany, and equidistant between New York City and Montreal, Canada. Finch Paper produces approximately 250,000 tons per year of uncoated printing papers for advertising, book publishing and business office uses. We pride ourselves not only on Finch Paper's outstanding printing characteristics and affordable price, but on delivering superior service. We offer the most extensive stocking program of any of our competitors, with more than 500 different items available for immediate shipment coast to coast. Finch Paper employs approximately 850 people, with an annual payroll of approximately $40 million. Our hourly, unionized workers are represented by Local 155 and Local 18 of the United Steel Workers Union; Local 1163 United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America; Local 773 United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters; Local 838 International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers; Local 236 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers; and Local 105 National Conference of Firemen & Oilers.
