The founders saw Nashville as a high growth market with a demonstrated need for a different financial service experience for clients frustrated with traditional approaches to banking and financial services typically provided by large regional institutions. The initial public offering raised $19.1 million and was the largest de-novo capitalization of a national bank in Tennessee.
