Founded in 1983, Virtual Technology, Inc. is a privately held company located in Troy, Michigan. The company was founded by former executives of the Burroughs Corporation, now known as Unisys. The company originally provided mainframe equipment and became the first to develop proprietary hardware disk arrays and tape arrays for extremely large Unisys sites.
