Stewart-Richey Construction Company was founded in 1973 and over the years we have grown into a premier contractor and construction management firm. In 1984 we became an authorized dealer for Kirby Building Systems and have ranked nationally in the top 25 Kirby dealers in sales for the past six years. In 2000, Houchens Industries acquired Stewart-Richey and we became a 100% employee owned ESOP company. Throughout the years, we have continued to focus our efforts on holding to the highest standards while continuing a commitment to a strong, open partnership between our customers, staff, design professionals, sub-contractors and vendors. We are a full-service, "one-stop" construction manager/general contractor employing over 255 workers and own twelve subcontracting divisions that provide industry experience spanning several decades. The diversity of our subcontracting companies provides the resources to better manage and schedule each facet of every construction phase. Our in-house operations include: excavation, form and flatwork concrete, prefabricated steel building erection, steel fabrication, brick masonry, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression systems, HVAC, refrigeration, drywall, and painting services. Our comprehensive construction management capabilities allows us to complete your project in less time while providing the highest quality workmanship. In addition, we are experienced in the detailed financial accounting controls and documents required for educational and church projects. Our financial condition is very strong with a Dun and Bradstreet rating of 3A2 and we have an extensive bond line available through a variety of surety companies.
