About
Waddesdon is a French Renaissance-style chateau with formal Victorian gardens and aviary, set in parkland in the heart of the Buckinghamshire countryside. It was built in the 1870s by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild to house his superb art collection and entertain fashionable Victorian visitors. Bequeathed to the National Trust and opened to the public in the late 1950s, its cultural legacy lives on under the stewardship of the Rothschild Foundation. Waddesdon continues its great tradition of entertainment and hospitality with events celebrating food and wine, and offers its 450,000+ visitors a changing programme of exhibitions, special interest days and events to entice visitors of all ages. Waddesdon Manor and Estate also offers a unique selection of venues, in a truly inspiring location, perfect for an extensive range of corporate events and weddings. This idyllic setting, with exemplary hospitality, gives your guests an experience they will never forget. Options include, but are not limited to, exclusive product launches, annual conferences, meetings, private dining and parties, wine tasting, team building activities and much more. In addition, the Five Arrows Hotel stands at the gates of the Manor and is perfect for an overnight stay or meal, for business or leisure. For more info see www.waddesdon.org.uk
