About
We believe that children on the autism spectrum should have the opportunity to fulfil their potential. We know that children and young people can grow up to be adults who have the skills to participate in every aspect of life. We teach children to become life-long learners and empower them to make choices about their lives. We believe that families and educators play a pivotal role in a child’s development, and that when we impact one life, we impact many. Autism Partnership Australia was established in 1998 to provide a comprehensive service to families and professionals caring for individuals with an autism spectrum disorder throughout Australia. Our method is based on an established and systematic evidence-based strategy, Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), which has been proven scientifically to be the most effective treatment for children with autism. The Australian branch of Autism Partnership includes around 90 staff, based predominantly in Victoria and Queensland. Autism Partnership runs a variety of early intervention services for young children with autism including Little Learners, Little School and allied health therapies. Autism Partnership has recently merged with CISCA and retains the name Autism Partnership. The Centre for Inclusive Schooling of Children with Autism (CISCA) was established in 2008 to provide a range of consultation services, information, education and resources to schools and families of children with ASD. Informally the two organisations have worked together for seven years. Autism, Education, Applied Behaviour Analysis
