The Edinburgh International Book Festival is the biggest, most international, most gloriously stimulating celebration of its kind anywhere in the world. Every year Charlotte Square Gardens is transformed into a beautiful tented village that houses theatres, bookshops, cafés and workshop spaces. Since the first festival in 1983, the aim of the Book Festival has been to promote words, language and literature to the widest possible audience, to bring readers and writers together and to create a forum for debate and discussion.
Entrance to the Book Festival in Charlotte Square Gardens remains free to everyone who wants to soak up the unique atmosphere of the world's premier literary festival and around 250,000 people come through the doors every year. Participants, including the world's greatest philosophers, poets, scientists, economists, historians, novelists, comic-artists, screen-writers, journalists, comedians and politicians, come to inspire audiences at over 800 events.
If you want to target a highly engaged audience of over 250,000, plus the world's leading authors and thinkers, and the top movers and shakers in the world of literature, then there's no better place than the Edinburgh International Book Festival and sponsoring us brings many benefits for your organisation.
