About
Just as the history of any delinquent account is important to its collection, Frost-Arnett believes its own history is an important factor to potential clients. Frost-Arnett can trace its beginnings back to 1893 when Howard E. Frost and two other individuals started working together to collect delinquent accounts. In 1905, this working arrangement incorporated under the name of Snow-Church and Company, Incorporated. According to all available information, this is believed to be one of the earliest, if not the earliest, establishment of a collection agency. Frost-Arnett is a direct descendant of this company. In 1924, the Company name changed to Frost-Lewis Company with the departure of Church and the addition of B. M. Lewis. By 1928, Frost-Lewis was already considered one of the leading collection outlets for both commercial and wholesale credit grantors in the country because of outstanding service. Some years later, Levin H. Arnett joined the company and in conjunction with Frost, established a New York City branch of the company that became the Eastern Division Headquarters. In 1933, a Chicago office was opened to serve as the Midwestern Headquarters. In 1935, Frost-Lewis Company officially became Frost-Arnett Company and continued to serve large corporations throughout the country. Four years later, Charles C. Martin, Sr. bought controlling interest in Frost-Arnett and immediately started accelerating the company’s growth. In subsequent years, the Company has continued to grow and expand to meet the needs of both its established and potential clients. The company branched out to represent national credit grantors and took a leading position in all avenues of credit and collections that have emerged through time. In 1969, Charles C. Martin, Jr. assumed the reigns of the Company and has energetically and consistently guided the Company through continued growth, building on the original philosophy of service and clientele confidence. There is an on-going commitment to provide Frost-Arnett clients the very best service available to effectively and quickly initiate rapid recovery of delinquent accounts.
