Family Building Blocks (FBB) is a child abuse and neglect prevention non-profit located in Salem, Oregon. A Relief Nursery serving families in Marion and Polk counties since 1997, FBB is committed to "keeping children safe and families together." By providing services that are free and voluntary, FBB is able to partner with parents facing difficult life circumstances while raising young children, ages prenatal to five. Each year, FBB supports over 1,000 children and 750 families through three core programs: therapeutic classrooms, home visiting and parenting education. Annually, 99% of children enrolled in FBB prevention programs are able to avoid foster care and remain living safely with their families. Over 100 employees, 400 volunteers and 1,500 donors are dedicated to these services that nurture children, support parents and strengthen families.
