About
WideSense is a spinoff from UC Berkeley focused on the digital transformation of the mobility industry. The WideSense platform delivers Real-time Mobility Contextual Intelligence to drivers, owners, location commerce partners and vehicle computers - transforming the Digital Experience by driving engagement across all OEM digital assets and enabling a recurring revenue relationship with the consumer. WideSense automatically learns behavior models of drivers, vehicles, vehicle subsystems and mobility patterns from real-world vehicle journey telemetry, route topography, traffic & weather forecasts as well as other data streams. These models are then used to generate real-time predictive insight services. Google, Facebook and Amazon have demonstrated the value in monetizing prediction products. Automakers are in a unique position to leverage their Connected Car investments to monetize Mobility Contextual Intelligence prediction services across today's vehicle platforms and their future MaaS offerings including robotaxi services.
