"The coolest new movie theater in the world."—GQ
Located in Manhattan's Lower East Side, Metrograph is the ultimate destination for cinema lovers. We screen rare, archival-print films alongside first-run movies in state-of-the-art digital video.
Our restaurant—The Metrograph Commissary—serves dinner 7 days a week, brunch on Saturday and Sundays, and cocktails til late. At Metrograph, our spirit harkens back to the great movie palaces of NYC in the 1920s and cinema's Golden Age—when writers, actors, and directors watched films, took meetings and carried on in the backlots and commissaries of the big Hollywood studios.
Also on premise are the Metrograph Bookstore and a cosmic candy shop that The Financial Times called "a cross between a Swedish Candy Store and a Damien Hirst installation."
Metrograph opened in 2016.
