In 1979, MCS was co-founded by David Bean and Rosemary Gould Esposito. Initially, MCS conducted business as Medical Copy Services serving trial attorneys with a need to obtain medical records quickly, efficiently, and economically. With that simple premise, MCS has evolved into a multi-million dollar enterprise with an affiliate network of offices serving thousands of clients across the nation. In 1995, Medical Copy Services became known as The MCS Group as a result of a strategic plan to diversify and offer on-site management of business support such as copy centers, mailrooms and file rooms to law firms and corporations.
