Incorporated in 1975, Laketown Electric has been serving the Southern half of Minnesota for over 45 years. In August of 2018, we purchased Javens Electric of Mankato, a company that specializes in industrial automation, industrial wiring, high voltage, low voltage and fiber work. In late 2020, LEC developed an office in Rochester, MN. LEC is a contractor that specializes in design/build construction complete with engineering capabilities in house. Our favorite projects are healthcare projects including surgery centers, clinics and hospital construction, manufacturing/food plant projects and large, high end commercial projects. We are optimistic about the future and intend to grow our business as well as our relationships with our customers. Seventy-five percent of our projects are performed under a design-build basis. As of 2.1.2020 we have 120+ full time employees and perform work within two hours of the Twin Cities Metro area and throughout Southern MN with our Mankato and Rochester offices.
