About
Molerway Freight Lines, Inc. was incorporated by Trygve O. Moler in April of 1971. It started as a one man intrastate freight operation delivering freight to Roundup and Melstone, Montana from Billings. In 1978, As profits grew, Molerway started to serve Columbus, Montana and all points in between to the Stillwater Mine in Nye, Montana. The demand for Molerway service continued to grow and we expanded to fulfill that demand. In 1980, three service centers were opened which were located in Bozeman, Great Falls and Havre, Montana. With the support of our customers service centers were opened in our state capital Helena and Missoula, Montana in 1981. The Kalispell, Montana service center was opened in 1983 and Molerway Freight Lines, Inc. made its first out-of-state move with the opening of the Spokane, Washington service center. In July of 1985 a service center was opened in Lewistown, Montana. In 1986, two more moves out of state were made to open service centers in Salt Lake City, Utah and Denver, Colorado. In 1987, two service center were established in Butte and Miles City, Montana. We currently are the largest intrastate carrier in Montana and we serve 70% more cities in Montana than our closest competitor. Our future plans are to serve more points in the state of Montana and to continually improve our customer service and technology to "CREATE RAVING FANS."
