Our technologies allow us to build clinical pathways, workflow systems and clinical decision support systems very quickly and without the need to write computer code. Our systems are designed to promote evidence-based and personalised medicine and have been shown to increase compliance with clinical guidelines by between 13% and 39%. Access to a Deontics CDSS system can be provided to all interested stakeholders including providers, payers and patients, allowing for patient participation in decision making, and sophisticated quality, compliance, monitoring, audit and authorisation capabilities. Deontics systems are designed to integrate individual patient data with clinical and administrative evidence, guidelines and protocols, providing patient specific recommendations and alerts, and at all times provide maximal transparency to all users. All clinical data items can be functionally linked with standard ontology codes e.g. SNOMED, RxNorm, LOINC etc., allowing for use of ontological logic within decision functionality as well as ICD9 and ICD10 codings providing curation and communication benefits. Similarly clinical procedures could be linked with CPT or equivalent codes and to introduce financial parameters into the record, and potentially the decision logic (according to client requirements). Interoperability is enhanced through use of HL7 and FHIR standards and via Deontics' APIs.
