Gorton Community Center, a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit space, provides, maintains, operates, and manages a community center for charitable, educational, and cultural purposes and for the general welfare of local residents of all ages. Gorton also provides a supportive, collaborative environment for many of the community's other not-for-profit social service and cultural organizations.
The Community Center's operations and improvements are supported solely by gifts, grants, and the proceeds of user fees.
No property-tax dollars support Gorton's operations.
