We created the Evanston Northwestern Healthcare Foundation to help us provide necessary resources to bring advances in medicine to our community. It was formed to maintain a continuous development program to raise funds and awareness of the world-class level of our services and research at all three hospitals: Evanston, Glenbrook and Highland Park. But as reimbursements continue to fall, and the costs of salaries, benefits, supplies and malpractice insurance continue to rise, philanthropic support has become even more important.
