P.J. Keating Company is a leading manufacturer of construction earth product in the Northeast. Founded in 1923, today P. J. Keating operates aggregate quarrying, crushing and Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) production facilities in Acushnet, Dracut, and Lunenburg, Massachusetts as well as Cranston, Rhode Island. Our crushing facilities produce a complete range of dimensional stone products and graded base materials. Our Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) plant facilities produce hot mix to meet the demanding specifications of the Massachusetts Highway Department, New Hampshire Department of Transportation, and the Rhode Island Department of Transportation as required. Additionally, specialty mixes are produced for specific projects or unique applications. P.J. Keating also offers material delivery services to move both our asphalt and aggregate products to job sites in the most efficient means possible.
Our modern facilities, veteran paving crews and large investment in plants and equipment make us one of the largest and most efficient producers in the State of Massachusetts as well as one of only two RIDOT approved stone suppliers in the State of Rhode Island. We are Mass Highway Department prequalified and RIDOT qualified and have worked on numerous MHD and RIDOT projects in our market areas. Additional projects include airports, shopping malls, industrial sites and subdivisions throughout northern, central and southeastern Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire and throughout Rhode Island.
Our locations put us approximately 35 miles from downtown Boston where we have been involved in the Central Artery Tunnel projects and Massports Logan Airport expansion. The C/AT project is the largest public works project ever undertaken in the United States.
P.J. Keating's parent company in the United States, Oldcastle Inc., which is part of the internationally known CRH plc family of companies, a world wide leader in building materials and products.
