Plan your retreat while the lakefront is still open. The Endless Summer Get-A-Way Package is available from mid-August until the end of September. Your group can enjoy two nights lodging, meals, and all the adventure at the lake for a special low price. In the fall, the Gorge bursts forth in a kaleidoscope of spectacular colors. Warm days are great for adventure activities and cool nights welcome a roaring fire. Snow often canvases the mountains during the winter months and the absence of leaves reveals magnificent rock formations. Doe River Gorge is located only 45 minutes from the ski slopes of Western North Carolina making the Gorge a great place for a ski retreat. During the spring, the Gorge comes alive with blooming mountain laurel and brightly-colored wild flowers. Numerous playing fields, sand-court volleyball, 9-hole disc golf, hiking in the scenic Gorge, octaball, and various table games are available for your group. Our staff can also lead your group in team building initiatives or extreme outdoor adventures.
