We distribute gas to homes and businesses across the north of England, an area covering the North East, northern Cumbria and most of Yorkshire.\r\n\r\nOur network comprises of 37,000km of gas pipes, that’s enough to travel from the north of England to Sydney, Australia, and back again.\r\n\r\nWe do not own the gas; we transport it on behalf of the companies who do, delivering it to users 24 hours every day.\r\n\r\nWe are responsible for maintaining the region's gas supply network and also act as the area's gas emergency response provider. \r\n\r\nIf you smell gas or are worried about gas safety, you can call 0800 111 999 at any time, day or night every day of the year.Northern Gas Networks Address
