LandStudies, Inc. is a design-build ecological restoration firm founded in 1989. We believe that the land is a valuable commodity. By properly restoring and managing our natural resources, we improve their function and sustainably maximize their economic potential. We have assisted clients on projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, specifically focusing on water resource issues and the challenges facing the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. Our professional design and environmental staff can provide a range of services related to the interaction of land and water systems. As lifelong learners, we anchor our approach in both qualitative and quantitative research, staying at the forefront of new discoveries. Extensive time in the field analyzing water resources continually increases our ability to adapt to unique challenges. As a design-build company, we boast an ecological construction division comprised of experienced construction managers and field operations crew who provide the licensure, materials, personnel and skills necessary to produce quality naturalized landscapes. We also offer monitoring and maintenance services to ensure that our projects continue to be successful after construction.
