In existence for over 60 years, Western Farmers Electric Cooperative (WFEC) has grown into Oklahoma's largest locally owned power supply system. WFEC is a generation and transmission cooperative that provides essential electric service to 19 member-owner cooperatives, an air force base and other power users. With three generation plants located at Mooreland, Anadarko and Hugo, WFEC has total power capacity of more than 1,400,000 kilowatts when the purchased hydropower is included.
