Family Central (FCI), a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) agency founded in 1971, was identified as the central child care agency for Broward County and charged with administering subsidized child care funds. It has operated successfully for more than 32 years as partners, first with the United Way, then with the Florida Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services (HRS)/Department of Children and Families (DCF) and most recently with the South Florida’s School Readiness Coalitions to provide the full complement of subsidized child care resource and referral; enrollment, eligibility, slot management; training and technical assistance; and developmental screening.Family Central of Broward Address
