Calcot, Ltd. is a grower cooperative consisting of 1,200 members. Calcot was established in 1927 and has made a name for itself by marketing and selling raw cotton, on behalf of its members, to the textile industry. Over the last 78 years, Calcot has gained a reputation as a world class marketer of high quality cotton. This position of high integrity was earned by becoming an expert organization in grading raw cotton for quality, length and strength of fiber. Annually, Calcot warehouses over one million bales of cotton and grosses over $500 million dollars. In 2003, Calcot decided to explore a new avenue by venturing into the towel business. Calcot manufactures and markets these towels as finished products, proudly using Calcot cotton, grown exclusively by their growers-members in California and Arizona. As a group, farmers are very unique individuals. They don't farm because it's glamorous; they farm because they are proud of their heritage, passed down from generation to generation. Calcot and its grower-members want everyone to be a part of this heritage and that is why they are now offering their towels for all to enjoy.Calcot Address
