Translators without Borders (TWB) the world's leading non-profit translation organization. The mission of TWB is a world where knowledge knows no language barriers. To achieve this mission, TWB works with non-profit partners globally to respond to challenges related to communication and language. TWB provides people access to vital knowledge in their language by connecting non-profit organizations with a professional community of translators; building local language translation capacity; and raising awareness of language barriers. Access to information is critical, and aid organizations working in crisis situations face an important challenge in disseminating vital information in the language that affected populations understand.
