The National Consumer Law Center works to defend the rights of low-income consumers and to advance economic justice. NCLC concentrates on working for fairness in financial services, wealth building and financial health, a stop to predatory lending and consumer fraud, and protection of basic energy and utility services for low income families. NCLC devotes special attention to vulnerable populations including immigrants, elders, homeowners, former welfare recipients, victims of domestic violence, military personnel, and others.
