Parent Trust for Washington Children equips parents and caregivers with the knowledge, tools and confidence to raise their children to be safe, healthy, and strong. We accomplish our goals through 8 programs and services that meet families where they are.
We serve all Washington State families from conception to college, strengthening more than 15,000 family members every year with:
- Telephone and internet coaching
- Pregnancy and parenting education programs to more than 5,000 expectant parents'
- Parent and caregiver support groups
- Support and coaching for parents in long-term chemical dependency treatment to gain positive parenting and coping skills to prevent child abuse and neglect
- Child and teen services aimed at reducing stress and strengthening resiliency for school and life
Parent Trust never uses a "cookie cutter" approach because every family is different. We tailor our solutions to meet the unique, long-term needs of each family. Our programs and services are rooted in the latest scientific research. We measure our outcomes on a continuous basis against projected family management and resiliency goals.
