The Daniel Boone Regional Library strives to be at the heart of the community, a trusted resource and partner known for excellence, creativity and open, equitable access, connecting every person to opportunities for a lifetime of discovery, learning and joy. Established in 1959, the library gives people living in Boone and Callaway Counties free access to information at its three library buildings, on the bookmobile and through the digital branch, www.dbrl.org. People can reserve materials and pick them up at Library-To-Go locations in Hallsville or Holts Summit. DBRL is funded primarily through property tax income.
