Who We Are: WeCo is a mission-based company that believes that usability is part of accessibility. We do more than just audits, our accessibility audits and testing are done by professionals who live with disabilities. This means that the work we do in testing Section 508/ADA/WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility includes feedback from real users, who also live with disabilities. All of our accessibility staff and testers live with one or more disability. WeCo’s Mission: Based on the principles of building up, moving forward and focusing on our strengths, WeCo’s mission is to foster accessibility, awareness and independence for all people, regardless of their disabilities. WeCo’s Goals: 1. Improve accessibility by providing high quality user experience testing focused on how individuals living with disabilities interact with electronic formats and the internet. 2. Increase awareness regarding the capabilities of people living with disabilities by providing educational outreach. 3. Foster independence by utilizing and compensating the skills of people who may have been overlooked by traditional work environments. 4.
