New Zealand Panels Group is a leading manufacturer of melamine, veneer and acrylic decorative panels for use in cabinetry, furniture and wall panels under the Prime Panels and Bestwood brands. Prime Panels brand also offers high-pressure laminate for benchtops and cabinetry and engineered stone benchtops. Its Dezignatek business provides custom finishing for doors, drawers and panels with a comprehensive range of Thermoform options and an extensive laser edging selection for melamine, acrylic and a range of Soft-Matt HPL. Arborline also offers themoform and custom finishing for doors, drawers and panels. New Zealand Panels Group owns Kopine, a company producing Ultralock and T&G particleboard flooring, and particleboard panels. Two joinery supplies businesses - Impey's and Anthony Shearer service the North Island and South Island joinery respectively, providing pressed panels, edge tape, MDF, particleboard and plywood substrates and accessories. The company has grown rapidly to number more than 200 people but fiercely adheres to a small company DNA and a culture established by the founding partners who are on the current Board.
