Since its founding in 1918, the Smith College School for Social Work (SCSSW) has been dedicated to providing an in-depth, theoretically-grounded clinical social work education. SCSSW is renowned for its unique low-residency structure which brings students to campus for focused academic study in the summer months, and places them in rigorous clinical internships throughout the nation from fall through spring.
