Soon to celebrate 40 years, Century Contractors was founded in 1975 as a subsidiary of Sauer Industries, Inc. in Pittsburgh. One of America's oldest contracting firms, Sauer lent its experience and reputation to our budding company - a foundation that we have only strengthened over the years. In 1986, Century appointed Doug Armstrong president. Within five years, Armstrong purchased the company and steered it towards further growth throughout the Southeast.
