Our mission is to provide effective treatment for those seeking recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. We've been providing a new perspective on prevention, treatment, and recovery–for individuals and for families–for over 35 years. Recovery-Oriented System At Phoenix Programs we believe that everything we do and say while interacting with clients and family members encourages personal recovery. Even during breaks between treatment groups, our clients interact with case managers, faith representatives, peer specialists, and recreational coaches engaging in activities that promote recovery. Client-Centered Our clients know this is not just a slogan, it is witnessed in every interaction. Staff walk alongside clients in their recovery journey instead of confronting and challenging. For individuals who have had negative interactions at other treatment centers or with authority figures, those negative experiences may be frozen in their minds. We operate from the philosophy that it is more successful to build a positive action than to stop or delete a negative action. Strengths-Based Traditional substance use disorders treatment is based on client problems. In contrast, our counselors begin their work with clients using a strengths list.
