All New Zealanders with home and/or contents insurance automatically receive EQ Cover. Other key functions include: Administering the Natural Disaster Fund, facilitating and supporting research to help build understanding of natural disasters and how to mitigate damage, and implementing education initiatives using school programmes, advertising and collateral.
