Resounding Joy harnesses the power of music to make happiness and health. We are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit that uses principles and approaches developed from professional music therapy practice. Resounding Joy’s Board-certified music therapists provide music therapy on site throughout San Diego County. The team provides services through four distinct programs, each targeting a separate underserved population that demonstrates high potential to benefit from music therapy services. Mindful Music brings recreational and supportive music to seniors of all abilities in nursing and retirement facilities, Healing Notes treats children at Rady Children’s Hospital, Semper Sound shares music therapy with veterans struggling with disabilities or psychological challenges, such as those arising from PTSD and TBI, and Sound Minds gives music therapy to at-risk teens with young children at local schools to facilitate development and parent-child bonding.Resounding Joy Address
