The Syracuse City School District is one of the largest in the state of New York including over 19,000 students in K-12 grades and an additional 1,300 in Pre-Kindergarten. The district’s facilities include: five High Schools, six Middle Schools, six K-8 Schools, fourteen Elementary Schools, and four Alternative Schools/Programs to help students with diverse needs. The diverse ethnic background of our students contributes to the unique nature of the Syracuse City School District.
